The Empty Tomb
A Grain of Sand ©

Sometimes what I have lived through has so changed
me… I forget I’m still wearing my physical tent.
Most of the time when the armed robbers and crazies with guns in their hands ran into the 7-Eleven Store where I worked the graveyard shift for eleven thousand nights [that’s thirty years in English]… they had pumped up and convinced themselves that their pathetic little gun gave them ‘some’ power or hold over me and they would run right up to me and shove ‘it’ in my face at which point my six hundred pound body that could easily pick up twenty three hundred pounds and carry it around in my hands would remove the pathetic little gun from their possession which often caused the armed robber or crazy person to discontinue [such as loose body parts or be dead sort of].
But this one night the armed robber - murderer shot me in the heart with his thirty-eight as he came running through the front door and crossed the threshold and I died and fell to the floor dead and bled out.
Yes… I bled out!
Then he came in behind the counter, put his gun down and proceeded to rifle through my cash drawer.
Then… Dad [God to you] brought me back to life like He has done so many other times [John 11:25-27] and I got up, picked up the guy’s gun who had just murdered me and went around and locked the front door and waited.
Finally he looked up and saw me standing there holding his gun with a big bloodstain over the heart area on my shirt and rattling the locked front door [probably with a smirk on my face that was never going to come off].
Oh the look on his face… was priceless!
After the deputies had come and carted him off [and they had viewed the security tape and saw firsthand what he had done]… I got out my mop and mop bucket and mopped up my own blood.
Go figure that!
Not only did Dad bring me back to life in real time… but in mopping up my own blood, He rubbed my nose in it so I would never forget what He had done [He’s like that].
After getting off at seven o’clock that morning I went home… and as in so many thousands of other times in past episodes when I appeared at first glance to be terminally or permanently damaged… it was the same this time for after having been shot dead in the heart and after getting home that morning and took off my blood soaked shirt… there was no damage… there was no hole, bruise, mark or scar.
So there was no proof I bled out… right?
Other than the old security tape… a year later in the hospital for an unrelated problem the doctor told me he had to give me three pints of blood because I was a little low.
So was it just me or God you doubted? Those who told or taught you that God was dead or never was… lied. For He is alive and well and quite willing to do the same for you as He has done for me. There is no reason for you to live a pathetic powerless physical existence as if you descended from monkeys… unless that is what you choose. Me… I am a child of The Living God and by unwavering faith in Him through His Firstborn Son… I am immortal now… not just in heaven after physical death.
Jesus said to her, I am [Myself] the Resurrection and the Life. Whoever believes in (adheres to, trusts in, and relies on) Me, although he may die, yet he shall live; And whoever continues to live and believes in (has faith in, cleaves to, and relies on) Me shall never [actually] die at all. Do you believe this? She said to Him, Yes, Lord, I have believed [I do believe] that You are the Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One), the Son of God, [even He] Who was to come into the world. [It is for Your coming that the world has waited.] [John 11:25-27 (Amplified)]
So shall My word be that goes forth out of My mouth: it shall not return to Me void [without producing any effect, useless], but it shall accomplish that which I please and purpose, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it. [Isaiah 55:11 (Amplified)]
A man’s [moral] self shall be filled with the fruit of his mouth; and with the consequence of his words he must be satisfied [whether good or evil]. Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and they who indulge in it shall eat the fruit of it [for death or life]. [Proverbs 18:20-21 (Amplified)]
For with the heart a person believes (adheres to, trusts in, and relies on Christ) and so is justified (declared righteous, acceptable to God), and with the mouth he confesses (declares openly and speaks out freely his faith) and confirms [his] salvation. [Romans 10:10 (Amplified)]
Remember… they are your words and thoughts and in Dads kingdom and realm... words & thoughts are seeds and once planted [spoken] create a harvest, so action is required and now… it is your move!
